The project consisted of extensive streetscape enhancement works in conjunction with the new Design Manual for Urban Roads & Streets to the Town Square, Edenderry.
- Design & implement extensive pedestrian & traffic management system
- Carry out road crossings for service ducting with building provisions included
- Install public lighting column sockets
- Install tree planters & trees
- Lay natural limestone kerbing
- Place specified sub-base under paving slabs
- Lay Newgrange paving slabs throughout
- Provision of ESB & Eircom chambers
- Installation of drainage gullies
- Construction of limestone clad planter boxes
- Construction of natural granite steps with contrasting nosing
- Construction of Courtesy Crossings
- Maintain access to all retail units at all times during the works
