Humewood Castle

The project consisted of extensive building, refurbishment and groundworks packages to Humewood Castle Estate in Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow.

• Internal strip out & minor demolitions to courtyard buildings, gate lodges and sections of castle itself
• Excavation, removal & replacement of existing internal floors with new insulated concrete floor slabs/screed over underfloor heating
• Extensive structural propping to internal walls
• New internal plumbing & drainage system
• Replacement & repairs to sections of the roof
• Installation of various types of energy upgrades
• Installation of external drainage & attenuation systems
• Construction of percolation areas & septic tanks, 6 no
• Construction of 2km of access roadways.
• Extensive soft and hard landscaping throughout the estate including the construction, planting and maintenance of the feature walled garden
• Liaising with various other trades on site
