Bretland Appoints John O’Connell as Construction Director
Bretland has today announced the appointment of John O’Connell to the position of Construction Director.
John joined Bretland in January 2024 as Senior Contracts Manager and quickly established himself as a key contributor to the company’s projects, culture and leadership pipeline. Drawn to Bretland’s strong reputation and commitment to excellence, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication and strategic focus, progressing rapidly through the organisation. His work on the Portlaoise project exemplified his ability to deliver high-quality results while fostering collaboration and trust within his team.
Reflecting on his promotion, John said:
“It’s one thing to take on a role and another to bring value to it. Since my first appointment as Construction Director, I’ve gained extensive experience, and I’m ready to build on that to make a meaningful impact.”
In his new role, John will focus on strengthening client and supply-chain relationships, overseeing project delivery and supporting the integration of new talent across the business.
