Bretland Construction Ltd are carrying out ongoing maintenance and civil works on behalf of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in the Grangecastle and Newbridge facilities. At Pfizer safety is of paramount importance and strict controls are put in place. These include permits to work and safe system of work schemes. Bretland Construction were able to complete each project on time and on budget to the approved specification without compromising on quality or safety. Examples of projects completed include the following.

• Modifications to GMP Area’s, offices, warehouse and CUB building.
• Refurbishment of Laboratories, Manufacturing, Canteen, and Welfare Facilities.
• Replacement of External Glazing to West elevation of the office and canteen Wing.
• Upgrade works to internal process drains in GMP areas during scheduled shut down of manufacturing plant and revamp works to external storm drain systems
• Removal of turnstiles and swipe card readers
• Installation of various utility ducting across the site & all associated connections
• Completion of on site concrete works
• Building structure modifications for construction of clean room, office upgrades, and full toilet block upgrade.
• QAQC Labs – Water Polisher Replacement Works.
• Demolition of Existing Structure, Internal & External Drainage of Manufacturing Suite 2
• Working in Pfizer’s on General building and maintenance works for over 8 years consisting of works in all areas of the Campus.
• Form external bunds
• Realignment of internal walls & doors
• Temporary works in preparation for installation of new site equipment
• Day to day on site maintenance
